Join Our HR Team as a Rewards & Payroll Leader

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in our HR team? As the Rewards & Payroll Leader, you will be responsible for delivering specialist services in rewards, benefits, and payroll across all UK branches. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all financial aspects of employee renumeration in accordance with company policies and local legislation.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for UK payrolls are met within set timescales.


Activities in this role will include - 

REWARD (TEPUK)

  • Oversee all aspects of the reward service including corporate annual compensation events such as MSI, Bonus, ACC, RSES, TRS AP and Capital offers
  • Plan benchmarking approach for TEPUK utilising salary and benefit surveys, reviewing validity of surveys and recommending participation in new surveys as appropriate. Ensure the integrity and relevance of survey data through regular contact with survey participants.
  • Facilitate the annual Gender Pay Gap analysis exercise for the relevant UK affiliates, ensuring publication of findings on the Government site each year for TEPUK.
  • Lead job evaluation projects locally to deliver organizational structure and grading decisions. Develop links with Corporate for all senior evaluations.

 

BENEFITS (UK)

  • Lead and support the work activities of the reward resources ensuring the timely delivery of benefit provision for all UK affiliates
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the UK to review and set out our benefit service provisions
  • Contract representative for all UK and TEPUK benefit contracts ensuring management of contract renewals, changes, issues, budgets and any day-to-day services with our contract & legal team
  • Plan and support shares related activities in the UK including campaigns (AP and Capital) and ensure team work closely during all subsequent taxable events with payroll and taxation teams
  • Liaising with TGITS on any benefit issues in the EC system 

 

PAYROLL (UK)

  • Lead and support the work activities of the payroll resources ensuring the timely delivery of payroll provision for all UK affiliates
  • Responsible for the delivery of 5 domestic payrolls across the UK (TEPUK, TEMUK, TGPL, TP, TERUK) including statutory monthly and annual reporting to HMRC, Pensions and Benefit Providers including sign offs for TEPUK payroll.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the UK to review and set out our benefit and payroll service provisions
  • Responsible for data provision in relation to UK Gender Pay Gap for larger affiliates (TEPUK, TGPL, TEMUK)
  • Ensure the external payroll bureau delivers accurate and timely payrolls across the UK
  • Liaising with TGITS on any payroll system issues 

 

TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of reward and payroll specialists.
  • Streamline practices with the aim of improving work practices 
  • Foster close relationships with our client HRDs to deliver and support delivery of the multi energy roadmap in the UK
  • Ensure teams remain up to date on best practices within our industry and foster links with peer organisations regarding their specialist subjects.
  • Ensure team remain updated with all operational activities that may require specific support 
  • Ensure local policies and process remain aligned with Group practices and local legislation
  • Ensure compliance and governance in respect of legislation and employment law

Profil du candidat

  • Degree-educated or possessing extensive HR experience within a large organisation
  • Full CIPD membership or equivalent professional qualification in Human Resource Management/Payroll Management
  • Extensive professional HR experience in a dynamic, service-oriented environment
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent decision-making skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and numeracy
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with a strong focus on delivery
  • Experience with HR systems, ideally from an implementation perspective, with a solid understanding of interdependencies and optimisation
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compensation and benefits
  • In-depth understanding of the linkage between HR policies/procedures and compensation
