Yunlin OWF will be the first time TotalEnergies takes on the operatorship for an offshore wind farm as well as the first time operating an asset in Taiwan for TotalEnergies. The model applied for Yunlin will form the basis of other offshore wind farms to be operated by TotalEnergies.

As a key part of TotalEnergies’ renewables energy growth ambition of 35GW by 2025 and 100GW by 2030, the Offshore Wind team is expanding to deliver on a growing project portfolio across the globe
The Planning and Performance Engineer (PPE) forms part of the Integrated Operational Control center (IOC) team and works with the rest of the TCM team to ensure maximization of the output of the windfarm.
The position will be based in Taipei, Taiwan and will include frequent site visits to Budai and offshore. In addition, infrequent travel to the head office in Paris or other locations may be expected.
Planning coordination and reporting for wind farm
Operational performance monitoring, analysis and reporting as required
Supporting the OM and GM on requests for operational performance reporting and follow up with shareholders and internal stakeholders
The Planning and Performance engineer’s responsibilities can be divided into 3 overall scopes:

Performance follow up
As the position will commence during the ramp up phase of the O&M phase, the PPE is expected to also actively support the development of the required processes and procedures that govern the PPE scope.
Safety from the system (preferred but not mandatory):
Relevant Engineering degree (EE preferred) with at least 2-3 years relevant experience within Offshore wind. Experience within planning or coordination of larger scopes is required Experience in Asset Performance monitoring and analysis is required, power producing asset is preferred. HV Electrical Operation preferred but not mandatory Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple demands Team player Curiosity, accuracy and rigor Good Presentation / interpersonal skills Flexible mindset, able to work outside comfort zone. Fluent in English, Mandarin language skills is a plus but not a must. |
