Contexte et environnement

  • Oil and Gas facilities located offshore and onshore Nigeria (Assets – OML58, OML99, OML100, OML102, NOPL).
  • Operated Production: Oil, Condensates and Gas.
  • Functions within the maintenance department in Port Harcourt with field visits when required.
  • Have adequate knowledge on operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Striving to achieve cost savings and best value for money in maintenance activities and material sourcing without compromise on TEPNG standards

Activités

    • Prepares scope of work for approved maintenance work programs ensuring that all relevant operating procedures and safety regulations are clearly outlined. 
    • prepares bill of material for maintenance work and ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available as and when required 
    • Prepares scope of work, calls for bids and issue these to contractors invited to tender for maintenance works to be performed. 
    • Ensures that the procurement of maintenance materials and equipment matches the objectives, needs and requirements. 
    • Supports the Head of maintenance in the management of the maintenance detailed engineering activities. 
    • Supervises execution of site maintenance modification works at site by external contractors ensuring that the proper procedures are followed and that all modifications are properly documented and carried out according to stated standards. 
    • Assists with the analysis of equipment malfunctions and makes recommendation for repair and future preventive action. 
    • Assists with the preparation of the preventive maintenance schedule for plant and equipment. 
    • Monitors and updates materials MRP data, review stock quantities, usage and consumption to minimize the stock value whilst ensuring that all spare parts are available for routine, breakdown and shutdown maintenance. 
    • Treats material requests from site maintenance, makes quality control on spares to be sent and prepares movements forms for available stocks to ensure proper material description and nomenclature. 
    • Ensures follow up of all assigned maintenance activities on site. 
    • Ensures that that the preventive maintenance linked to Methods are carried out as planned. 
    • Ensure updating of the CMMS. 
    • Support the entity heads in the preparation of Company’s estimate and yearly budget plans and follows up on any budget variation or reconciliation issues with NAPIMS. 
    • Troubleshoots complex or recurring failures which require technical analysis and resolution with the help of other departments, vendors or original equipment manufacturer and recommend sound and cost-effective solutions. 
    • Liaises with vendors and the original equipment manufacturers for all queries regarding maintenance, modifications, spare parts, drawings and the resolution of technical problems. 
    • Ensures that all drawings, plans, manuals and Maintenance Equipment Logbook (MELB) are up-to-date and “as built” and direct draftsmen to carry out all corrections and reflect any alterations, modifications and additions to electrical equipment system. 
    • Reviews and check work completed by contractors, ensures compliance with work is satisfactorily completed, make necessary corrections, and submit to the Maintenance Methods Engineer for endorsement and payment processing. 
    • Carries out any other duties/projects that may be assigned to him/her by his hierarchy. 
    • To assist JV offshore and onshore sites in maintaining the availability and reliability of Electrical power Generation, distribution and utility systems with all its ancillary equipment. 
    • External Relations: 
    • Liaise with partners for budget and other issues. 
    • Liaise with OEM’s, vendors and contractors

Profil du candidat

  • B.Sc. in Electrical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation and controls engineering (or equivalent) 
  • 0 - 3 years’ working experience in an Oil and gas or industrial plant as maintenance/mechanical/electrical/instrumentation engineer 
  • Good knowledge of industrial plant equipment. 
  • Technical reporting, good analytical skills, and computer software skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team management skills 
  • Good communication skills, organization and time-management skills
