Profil du candidat

At least a Bachelor’s Degree( Minimum of 2nd Class Upper) in Accounting .

 Professional Accounting qualification ( ICAG, ACCA, CIMA ETC)

Knowledge of Financial and Accounting , plus at least two years post qualification experience. 

Must be dedicated, reliable and inspire confidence.

Must be able to lead team members effectively

Activités

 Suppliers

  • Process all invoices for MIRO related to Goods and Services suppliers other than CAPEX and Product purchases.
  • Prepare account reconciliation for major Goods and Services Supplier. 
  • Assist with the review of Withholding tax and withholding VAT for invoice posting.

 Expense  Review

  • Prepare monthly accrual and amortization schedules for OPEX.
  • Perform monthly OPEX reviews on allocated General ledger accounts.
  • Prepare monthly Transport schedules for TOP reversals and Transport accrual postings.
  • Review and analyze general ledger accounts allocated.
  • Assist the Financial Accountant in preparation of Final for publication and to the securities and Exchange Commission. 

 Other Responsibilities

Assist the Financial Accountant in the preparation of monthly Withholding Tax and VAT returns.

Ghana is an Anglophone country surrounded by Francophone countries .The Financial sector is vibrant . The country operate a flexible 

Exchange rate ,but with a volatile currency . The oil industry is very competitive having seventy (70) oil marketing companies. 

There are three major oil marketing companies including Total Energies  which has a market share close to 11.5%. The energy sector 

is partially regulated . The company sells on both cash and credit basis and this calls for effective controls to ensure proper

accountability . It also operate a multi -currency regime with attendant exchange rate fluctuations. The company operates throughout 

Country with some areas very remote requiring regular monitoring especially the banking system. 

The company is also listed on the Ghana stock exchange which requires very stringent and accurate reporting.
