Contexto y entorno

Join TotalEnergies' Exploration & Production (EP) branch in Norway and contribute to the development and validation of CO transport solutions.

The assignment will take place at TotalEnergies' Research & Technology (R&T) Center in Stavanger, within a team specialized in flow assurance challenges related to CO transportation by pipelines, ships, trucks, or trains.

You will work in an international, scientific, and collaborative environment, interacting with research institutes, universities, and technical experts.

Actividades

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Perform computer simulations using experimental or field data.
  • Compare simulation results against existing flow assurance models.
  • Benchmark different simulation tools and numerical models.
  • Analyze model performance across various use cases.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for existing models.
  • Prepare technical reports and result summaries.
  • Present conclusions to internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with universities, research institutes, and software developers.
  • Contribute to monitoring experimental campaigns related to R&T projects.
  • Occasionally support students in carrying out simulation studies.

Perfil del candidato

Graduated with a master’s degree or Engineering degree (minimum Bac+5 equivalent) in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

You have first experience in flow assurance, process simulation, or fluid engineering.

Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics is required to understand flow assurance phenomena and the associated models.

You are able to analyze and interpret technical results and prepare technical reports.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly:

  • Excel ;
  • PowerPoint ;
  • Word.

Knowledge of Excel macros is considered an asset.

Knowledge of LedaFlow or OLGA is considered an asset.

Knowledge of UniSim, ProII, or Aspen Plus/HYSYS is also considered an asset.

An English level of C1 minimum is required. A French level of B2 minimum is also required.
