Actividades
Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
Monitor and maintain computer systems, power backup systems and networks
Talk staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults, replace hardware parts as required and/or liaise with suppliers for quick resolution
Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
Support the roll-out of new systems and applications from local initiative and from the Total Group
Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
Respond within agreed time limits to support call-outs and work round-the-clock to ensure all calls for support are resolved within reasonable time or escalated appropriately and follow ups are made to ensure successful resolution
Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time
Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers, and suppliers. To supervise all suppliers who come to provide
Follow up with all supplier invoices to make sure they are received on time, entered into the system for approvals and follow up to ensure they get approved on time
Train users on new systems and applications
Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve various system issues and business needs that require technological solutions
Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
Implement IT policies as per the agreed Company standards and policy documents
Take regular inventory of all hardware and software systems that are in use within the affiliate and make sure the inventory document is updated regularly
Raise service support Tickets for all issues that require technical assistance from the support team in Paris HO and ensure a close follow up is done until all issues are resolved and tickets are closed
Keep record of problems and their resolution
Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting
Follow up with suppliers to ensure agreed SLAs are adhered to
Any other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor or HODs

Perfil del candidato
BSc in IT / Computer Science, or equivalence.
Good Knowledge of Computer Software and Hardware.
Competent in Cisco Networking Technologies.
Solid technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues.
