Contexto y entorno

Overall responsibility for developing a pipeline of early to late-stage utility-scale projects to financial close.

Actividades

  • Advise Land Acquisition Specialists on greenfield targets and negotiations to ensure financeable lease/purchase options and site control agreements with landowners. As needed, contract and supervise local land agents. 
  • Intimate knowledge and ability to follow closely the renewable energy power market trends including changing technologies, regulations, and regulatory/ financial incentives. 
  • Lead and coordinate development activities for assigned pipeline projects. 
  • Collaborate with assigned Project Manager to maintain project schedules and ensure the project meets budgets.

Perfil del candidato

  • 4-year technical or business degree from an accredited college program.
  • 3-5 years renewable energy project development (solar PV preferred). 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, people, and strategic objectives; Project Management Professional certification preferred. 
  • Subject matter expertise (e.g. real estate, environmental, permitting, tax abatements) highly valued.
  • Ideally based in Austin, Texas. 
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% as needed to assure the project’s completion on time and within budget.
