The main responsibilities of the position include:
Identifying significant variances between forecasts and actual results and analyzing their root causes; identifying financial, operational or budgetary risks that may impact performance; identifying opportunities for cost optimization or process improvement.
Supporting cost center managers in their budget management and financial steering.
Analyzing financial performance, cost structures, investment profitability and reallocated corporate costs.
Managing the budget and long-term plan process: preparation, consolidation, monitoring and revision of financial data.
Leading monthly performance reviews with head office departments, and implementing and improving reporting tools.
Participating in monthly, quarterly and annual closings, as well as cross-functional projects aimed at financial or organizational optimization.
Preparing, analyzing and presenting monthly financial reports to executive management.
Developing dashboards, performance indicators and financial forecasts (forecast, landing, etc.).
Preparing budget and long-term plan (LTP) meetings with business departments, ad hoc analysis files for the finance department, and documentation required for audits.
Supporting managers in monitoring their budgets and interpreting their performance indicators.
Supporting the deployment of new management tools or procedures.
Ensuring the consistency, reliability and quality of financial data, compliance with internal procedures and accounting standards.
Master’s degree (equivalent to Bac +5) in Management Control or Finance, with at least 5 years’ experience in management control.
