Managing project costs is challenging because exchange rates and inflation often cause construction material prices to rise. To avoid unexpected expenses, projects should be carefully planned ahead of time.  

Other constraints include:

  • Securing dependable contractors and service providers
  • Aligning contractor HSEQ culture with TotalEnergies’ standards
  • Ensuring local contractors use appropriate materials, tools, and equipment
  • Maintaining construction standards
  • Permit approval delays from regulators

Actividades

HSSEQ Activities

The job holder shall ensure ZERO accident, LTI, MT and FAT on all sites under supervision by:

  • Abiding by all the 12 Golden rules during projects
  • Report near misses and ensure contractors do same at project sites
  • Conduct regular inspections on project sites, facilities etc as may be required
  • Ensure lifesaving checks, joint safety tours and safety green light are performed for all project works.
  • Ensure all high risk jobs are covered by valid prevention plan, risk assessment and work permit(s).
  • Participate in all audits and ensure timeous closure of all findings (IMS, One Maestro, Company Audits, etc)
  • To implement company Biodiversity plan and sustainability initiatives.
  • Participate in all HSSEQ programs and trainings

Main Project Activities

The job holder is responsible for the execution of new investment / projects on the Existing and construction of new Consumer Station, Lubricant & LPG Installations, Depot installations and Warehousing Installations and Network Station as directed by Projects Engineering Manager.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Prepare  Design Drawings, Specifications and Bill of Quantities and other related tender documents
  • Evaluates bids of contractors  and make recommendations to tender committee.
  • Ensure that all detailed designs are as per HSSSEQ standards and current relevant codes of practice, legislative requirements as well as Totalenergies company standards. 
  • Plan, organise, execute control and monitor projects within the given time and budget, to ensure Totalenergies engineering standards are adhered to.
  • Supervise the construction works (civil, electrical, mechanical, painting plumbing etc)
  • Ensure that service provided by contractors is effected within the agreed response times and within the agreed Safety, Environment and Quality standards 
  • Ensures all statutory and regulatory permits and as built drawings are obtained and maintained for all new projects.
  • Responsible for all safety, health and environment related issues, training and program implementation.
  • Manage project cash flows and ensure project are executed within budget.
  • Prepare and monitor project KPIs submit project weekly and monthly reports.
Implement Sustainab’All KPIs and participate in all sustainable activities


Perfil del candidato

-Strong technical background with a degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering fields.

-Minimum three years of relevant experience in a reputable company.

-Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

-Excellent time management and deadline adherence.

-Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Primavera.
