Context and environment

You will report to the Production Superintendent and work closely with the offshore Production Team. The site operates as a lean organization with high interconnection between installations and strong reliance on production efficiency and safety performance. The offshore location is approximately 210 km from Esbjerg, with around 40 meters of water depth and occasional weather constraints.

Activities

As an Operator Trainee, you will support the offshore Production Team and participate in daily production activities under the guidance of experienced Production Operators. Through a structured training program, you will gain the knowledge and experience required to perform production operations safely, efficiently, and independently over time.

 

In essence, you can look forward to:

  • Participating in daily production activities together with experienced Production Operators
  • Actively following the Operator Trainee training program and ensuring continuous progression through regular dialogue with the Production Superintendent
  • Contributing to safeguarding process safety conditions before, during, and after activities
  • Supporting the evaluation and planning of tasks prior to execution
  • Assisting the production team as instructed by the Chief Production Operator or the Production Superintendent
  • Gaining hands on experience across production operations, including laboratory tasks and work in the Central Control Room
  • Becoming familiar with operator roles during emergencies and responsibilities within the offshore duty roster
  • Supporting cost effective execution of activities
  • Contributing to the site HSE performance strategy and HSE action plan (HSE dossier, SIMOPS, integrity threats, downgraded situations, major risks, dead legs)
  • Reinforcing company initiatives such as 3C, LEAN, visual management, Perfect Day, Safety+, 5S, and digital solutions


Perfil del candidato

Who we are looking for

You approach your work with a strong safety mindset and a willingness to learn. You thrive in a dynamic offshore environment, enjoy hands‑on operational exposure, and are motivated by developing your technical and professional competencies. You work well under pressure, communicate clearly with colleagues, and contribute positively to teamwork and collaboration in a diverse offshore environment.

 

Your background 

  • Recently qualified Marine Engineer or completed an electrical or mechanical occupational education
  • No prior offshore experience required
  • Theoretical knowledge of process systems and basic chemistry
  • Open minded, eager to learn, and able to work under pressure
  • Structured and methodical working style
  • Fluent in English (knowledge of Danish is an advantage)

 

Additional requirements

  • Due to the nature of this role, employment is contingent on obtaining security clearance from PET (the Danish Security and Intelligence Service). We will initiate this process upon your appointment.  
  • Candidates may be asked to present a criminal record certificate during the final recruitment stages
  • Upon hiring, offshore employees must be able to obtain an offshore medical certificate (provided through the company’s medical provider)
