ESS division for Saft strengthens the company's ability to serve the global energy storage market and to support the transition to renewable energy.
This role contributes to the development of competitive technical solutions for our customers. It serves as the main technical point of contact between the customer and the internal team. It defines and prepares the technical aspects and requirements of Saft energy storage solutions according to customer specifications. It provides technical support to the sales teams and interacts with project, product, and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction, product-market fit, and continuous improvement. The scope of work is international, with projects in Latin America. It ensures that Saft's technical knowledge is constantly up to date and relevant for ESS applications. It documents this knowledge in Saft's databases and tools.
- Anticipate market trends (regulatory aspects, market opening, evolution of applications, etc.)
- Establish and maintain strong and lasting relationships with clients at all levels (Engineering / Purchasing, etc.)
- Implement a commercial strategy to sustainably develop and grow business in the area: Go to Market / Customer mapping / Competitor analysis, Action plan, etc.
- Identify new opportunities (ACTIVE approach to business development) across the targeted application range (Prospecting / Approach to new and existing clients, opportunity tracking, global partnership, etc.) and support the preparation of bids.
- Provide timely budget reports and information: track sales activities in the CRM, order forecasts, coordinate efforts to introduce and communicate new solutions in your market (seminars/exhibitions).
