Are you passionate about analysis, eager to lead high-impact projects, and motivated to contribute to the transformation of a company committed to the energy transition? Then this BtoB Pricing Analyst role is made for you!

As a BtoB Pricing Analyst, your main activities will be as follows : 


(1) PRICING ANALYST B2B SEGMENT 

- Ensure the end-to-end execution of the operational calculation of price formulas for gas and electricity supply contracts in the B2B segment: processing data with pricing tools, updating various parameters based on legal and market developments.

- Participate in Bid Tender Committee overseeing upcoming public tenders, to advise on bidding strategy from a Pricing/Energy Management point of view. 

- Provide support as an expert in market mechanisms, contract valuation, risk premium calculation, identification of the price impact of exceptional situations, etc. 

- Monitor energy market news in Belgium to understand and comments on price developments. 

- Ensure the training and understanding of the energy market among various salespeople and assist them with technical customer questions and product selection. 

- Support to regulatory watch and advocacy: Stay updated on various pricing-related areas by keeping informed about regulator consultations to anticipate market developments. If necessary, review or develop risk coverage models. 

- Ensure a good understanding and protection of the margin of existing and future products: validate assumptions with Finance, implement new products, participate in budget preparation. 

- Rigorously perform the operational calculation of large electricity injection contracts in Belgium. 

- Support PPA & Origination team in the pricing of large PPAs for renewable energy. 

- Support e-mobility team from Marketing and Services Branch by pricing EV supply contracts and advising on best hedging possibilities for public tenders 


(2) QUOTING ENGINE BUSINESS OWNER 

- Ensure the Quoting Engine is kept up to date for daily use by the sales team by updating necessary parameters. 

- For new developments, translate business needs into specifications, supervise testing and deployment in coordination with the IT team. 


(3) BACK-UP MASS MARKET PRICING ANALYST 

- Ensure the rigorous execution of the operational calculation of gas and electricity tariff cards for the residential segment in Belgium. 

- Update the pricing of green certificate obligations for TotalEnergies Power & Gas. 


(4) CLICK MANAGEMENT 

- Ensure operational management of clicks, following margin management strategy and management of positions related to hedging recommendations 


(5) QUANTITATIVE ANALYST FOR PRICING

- Execute quantitative analysis to size and mitigate existing or new risks 

- Develop and maintains models and tools to help assess or monitor risks (e.g. Pricing Dashboard) 

- Liaise with Data & Risk team to coordinate on risk monitoring and mitigation 


(6) ATTITUDE AND NON-OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

- Proactively adapt price parameters and calculation tools based on needs and market developments in Belgium. 

- Adapt pricing processes and contribute to refining the commercial offer from a continuous improvement perspective and document these developments.

- Proactively identify and report risks and improvements and be a vector of solutions to correct them.

- Develop collaboration with the Finance team, salespeople, and their managers while demonstrating assertiveness. 

- Develop collaboration and contribute to the harmonization of pricing methodologies with the TotalEnergies RPG teams.

Perfil del candidato

Education Required :

  • Master’s degree (Bac +5) in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Economics, Engineering, etc.)

IT Skills :

  • Programming skills (e.g., Python)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel

Languages :

  • English: C1
  • French: C1
