Ideal Education & Experience Requirements:

  • BBA Degree in Accounting
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred
  • 5 to 10 years of Accounting Experience
  • Knowledge of IFRS standard is required. US GAAP being a plus

Actividades

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Responsible for accounting tax holdings reporting, including comprehension of the complex tax transactions, documentation of the related processes, liaison with the tax team and reporting to US Top Management and group.
  • In charge of reporting TEPRI, US Holdings, Retia USA, LSS and LSS Funding companies’ financial activities under IFRS. This role will become the go to for all tax holdings related matters.
  • Consolidate all entities in scope into a complete set of IFRS financial statements on a timely and recurring basis. 
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for the US Holding Companies in compliance with IFRS. Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for TEPRI, US Holdings, RETIA USA, LSS and LSS Funding. Coordinate, review, and distribute monthly management reports for US Holdings.
  • Liaison to the external audit team for the management and coordination of the quarterly financial audit. This includes resolution of problems as they arise and development of the company’s best practices and procedures.
  • Prepare lead schedules (PBCs) to support quarterly and annual IFRS financial audit reviews by the external audit team.
  • Complete Ad Hoc requests and other projects throughout the year as needed.
  • Perform the external reporting function for consolidated statements of TotalEnergies Holdings USA, Inc. (TEHUSA) and Accompanying Subsidiaries and provide technical accounting support to TEHUSA and its affiliates.
  • Ensure the integrity and timeliness in reporting Company’s financial and management results in accordance with IFRS accounting pronouncements as well as local and Group Accounting Policies.
  • Adherence to the Company’s Internal Control Framework and procedures.

In this role, this position must have the ability to work on issues throughout the different businesses of the Group including E&P, R&C, and Holdings. 

Workflow includes monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as well as special projects as required.

Communicating with the external audit team, local Accounting Managers, global branch consolidation groups, and US affiliate accounting groups and senior management.
