Expected qualifications:

  • Process Engineer / Chemical Engineer / Generalist Engineer with specialization in refining or refining economics


 
Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of industrial processes and petroleum economics
  • Knowledge of refining processes and schemes


 
Computing skills:

  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel) 
  • Knowledge in linear programmation is a plus

 

Languages:

  • English: level C1
  • French: level C1
  • Dutch : optional

Main Responsibilities:

  • Gasolines Blending Tool Development: Create a tool to optimize gasoline recipes, considering component availability. Provide best practices and recommendations to the Refinery Production Planning Team.
  • Crude Value Data Historization: Develop a tool to record and analyze crude value data, aiding Program Engineers in evaluating crude purchase performance retrospectively.
  • LPG Production Simulation: Design a tool to simulate LPG production and consumption within refinery units, contributing to the improvement of the overall mass balance for the price risk management project.
  • Standard Case Generations in LP Model: Develop standard case generations in the LP model to analyze FCC and MHC unit feeds and process parameters, helping to prioritize optimization drivers.
  • Logistics Operations Support: Provide analysis support for logistics operations (mainly barges) and develop data collection reports in Power BI.

    NB : Tasks may vary based on the team’s current operational situation but will focus on analysis and optimization skills.

The selected candidate will receive a VIE allowance according to the Business France rates.
