Within the Valorization team, responsible for preparing and explaining financial results and for steering and optimizing a complex refinery and two petrochemical facilities, you will work closely with the Mass Balance team and the Production Planning team to:

Your responsabilities

  • Perform the daily mass balances for the petrochemical sites.
  • Deliver accurate and reliable mass balance reporting, used for the monthly calculation of the site’s operating result (losses + fuel equivalent amounting to €400M/year).
  • Monitor and challenge site losses, notably by tracking custody meter accuracy and reviewing daily material movement data.
  • Reduce reconciliation volumes by analyzing and explaining discrepancies between measurements.
  • Enhance the valuation of production units by identifying incorrect or inconsistent measurements.
  • Support the Production Planning and Mass Balance teams in the development and transformation of digital tools, ensuring alignment with the site’s evolving needs.

Perfil del candidato

Expected qualifications:

  • Engineering degree with industrial experience. Experience in production performance and optimization is a plus.


 
Technical & soft skills:

  • Good communication skills 
  • Self motivated/starter 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Analytical mindset to explain economic trends and gaps


 
Computing skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Excel (including Macros and Visual Basic) 
  • Affinity with IT tools / Able to learn new tools/softwares

 

Languages:

  • English: level C1
  • French: level B2/C1
  • Dutch : appreciated
