Contexto y entorno

This position is a key member of the TEAS Treasury team and reports directly to Manager Treasury & Cash Management. The Senior Treasury Analyst provides treasury support to 70+ U.S. affiliates including JV’s operating within various resource management systems. 

This position is located in Houston, Texas.

Actividades

This position is primarily accountable for managing the cash flows of TEAS shared service entities with the foremost priority of safeguarding these assets by strictly adhering to the internal control framework outlined by Company Treasury.

  • Forecast daily cash position of the U.S. Cash Pool and request appropriate funding (within debt limits) from Company Treasury by 9:00am CST every morning. 
  • Monitor TEHUSA's cash balance with Company Treasury and ensure liquidity daily. 
  • Provide core treasury payment support to entities under TEAS shared services: manual and batch wire/ach payment initiation and release, positive pay files, EFT payments. 
  • Perform FX related activities for U.S. affiliates. 
  • Perform duties within the context of the company's internal control framework and ensure compliance with Treasury SOX controls.
  • Provide support during audit to both internal and external auditors. 
  • Serve as a key resource to U.S. affiliates on a wide range of daily banking issues. 
  • Provide initial-level support to the U.S. affiliates for Treasury Management Systems (TMS) related questions and issues. 
  • Provide bank account management and monitoring for all entities under TEAS shared services (system administrator, opening/closing, updating user entitlements and authorized signers, KYC bank documentation). 
  • Provide support for managing the internal debt agreements of all U.S. affiliates. 
  • Perform ad hoc requests, assist management with various projects and Company Treasury initiatives as needed.
  • Support the managing of the short-term cash forecasts and maintaining daily liquidity for all U.S. based affiliates participating in the U.S. cash pool. 
  • Provide back up processing support for all critical daily activities for other members of the Treasury team, which is reciprocated.

Perfil del candidato

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. Graduate degree such as an MBA preferred. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Treasury, Accounting and/or Finance role. A total experience of at least 7 years is preferred.
  • Proficiency in online banking system platforms, Treasury Management Systems (TMS), and SAP.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting principles.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across the organization.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail; critical thinking with problem-solving skills; ability to work autonomous and as part of a team; strong leadership qualities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities to meet deadlines; ability to challenge and identify improvement opportunities. 
  • Ladder position - level dependent upon experience.
