Contexto y entorno

To facilitate its expansion into the electricity and renewable energy sectors, TotalEnergies has established a new entity, OneTech, which consolidates all technical and R&D expertise from its major branches (Exploration & Production, Refining & Chemicals, Marketing & Services, and Gas, Renewables & Power).

With nearly 3,400 engineers and technicians distributed across nine sites in Europe, OneTech is structured into three divisions: an Industrial Division supporting the Company’s growth in gas, renewable energies, electricity, and CO₂ emissions reduction; a Research & Development Division dedicated to advancing TotalEnergies’ transformation with a strong focus on low‑carbon technologies; and a Support Functions Division.

As part of the European project LAPERITIVO, aimed at accelerating the development and validation of next‑generation photovoltaic technologies, this internship focuses on the reliability and durability of solar cells and modules. You will join the team to investigate device stability using accelerated ageing protocols under controlled indoor conditions.

This work will directly contribute to strengthening the understanding of degradation mechanisms and improving long‑term performance indicators for emerging photovoltaic technologies.

Actividades

As a Indoor stability tests for perovskite cells/modules M/F trainee, your missions will be:

  • Contribute to the evaluation of photovoltaic cell and module stability through light soaking indoor stress testing.
  • Support the development and optimization of reliability protocols within the LAPERITIVO project.
  • Generate high‑quality experimental data to better understand degradation mechanisms and lifetime predictors.

Missions:

  • Participate in the setup, execution, and monitoring of accelerated aging tests under controlled indoor conditions especially under light.
  • Assist in the characterization of PV cells/modules before, during, and after stress exposures.
  • Contribute to data analysis, reporting, and interpretation to guide reliability assessments and technology improvements.
  • Collaborate with R&D and reliability teams to refine testing workflows and suggest methodological enhancements.

You will evolve within a team of experienced professionals and with a tutor-coach, the reference for your future profession. Individualized support will help you develop your autonomy and lead you to your diploma!

Perfil del candidato

Currently enrolled in an engineering school or pursuing a Master’s degree in the field of PV research and development, you are looking for a 6‑month end‑of‑study internship starting in April 2026?

Do you have a solid first experience in materials science, along with knowledge in physics, photovoltaics (PV), materials characterization techniques, and stability testing?

You are comfortable with office software and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite? You will specifically use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Origin software and data analysis would be an asset.

Are autonomy, rigor, and team spirit an integral part of your strengths? Do you know how to take initiative? Strong writing skills and a professional command of French will be essential for this position.

If you recognize yourself in this profile, don’t hesitate—join the TotalEnergies adventure!
