As a Reservoir Geoscience and Statistics Engineer Intern M/F, your responsibilities will include :

• In collaboration with our subcontractors, generalizing the Python code (transition from 2D grids to 3D grids, application to discrete variables such as facies) and integrating it into a broader IT environment (Dataiku, as well as interfacing with Sismage, the company’s geomodeling tool).
• Applying the methodology to data from the Tilenga field (Uganda) to demonstrate the benefits of this approach in a context where datasets evolve rapidly and mapping must be continuously adapted.

Participation in software development may be considered depending on your motivation.

Currently enrolled in an engineering school or pursuing a Master’s degree in Geosciences, you are looking for a 6-month end-of-study internship starting in April 2026 ?

You have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of geomodeling and strong knowledge in geosciences ? Familiarity with artificial intelligence would be an asset.

Comfortable with IT tools, you have good skills for potential development in Python and WebApp. You will be involved in supporting Python code comprehension and using datasets to illustrate its relevance.

Are autonomy, rigor, and team spirit among your strengths ?
Strong writing skills and a professional command of English (intermediate level minimum) will be essential for this position.
