TotalEnergies Renewables is looking for a dynamic and driven Project Development Manager to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals in the solar Utility Power Plant (UPP) sector.

TotalEnergies Renewables is committed to developing large-scale solar projects with both public and private off-takers across the globe, including Japan, Europe, South Africa, the Middle East, and the USA. We are also expanding our energy storage capabilities worldwide. The UK is a key focus area for us, and we aim to establish a substantial UPP portfolio here.

Your Role:

As a Project Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our solar photovoltaic pipeline development, from greenfield to Final Investment Decision (FID). You will seamlessly hand over the execution of assets to our Construction department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and supervising the development of solar projects.
• Ensuring economic viability of each project.
• Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including development partners, landowners, local authorities, and more.
• Coordinating with internal teams across technical, sales, legal, finance, procurement, and HSE departments.
• Driving project progress through all necessary steps, including feasibility studies, securing grid and land, obtaining planning consent, and finalizing agreements.
• Staying informed on energy sector trends, technologies, policies, and key industry players.
• Preparing tenders for energy auctions, EPCs, and O&M.
• Reporting progress to the Head of Project Development based on defined procedures and KPIs.

Education: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering.

Experience: Considerable experience in project development, ideally in energy and renewable projects.

Skills: Fluent in English (essential), French (beneficial).

Technical Background: Demonstrable knowledge in renewable energies is desirable.
