Contexto y entorno

The Absheron Conventional Gas & Condensates field is located offshore Azerbaijan Republic in the Caspian Sea in 500 meters depth, at about 100km southeast of Baku, 25km north-east of Shah Deniz field and 34km south of Oil Rocks production and processing facilities. The project aims at supplying natural gas for both domestic market via Sangachal main facilities (condensate) and for international export market via the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP).

Actividades

The Commissioning and Start-Up (CSU) Manager is responsible for the planning and safe execution of commissioning and start-up activities of the Absheron FFD Project. He will ultimately ensure that project facilities are commissioned and started up safely and on time, and comply with the project integrity and assurance requirements to achieve the agreed operating performance targets. 

He/she is responsible for coordination of activities with all parties: AZNEFT, Project, Contractors…

Before Start-up, responsibilities are to:

  • Lead the execution of CSU activities from construction through to final handover.
  • Ensure CSU risks are identified, and necessary mitigation plans are in place.
  • Manage main Commissioning Contracts assigned to FOPS, i.e. Dewatering, Wellhead Commissioning and Piping Services.
  • Define support requirements for vendor representative, time schedule and cost forecast.
  • Preparation/validation of “as-commissioned” documentation to facilitate the handover of systems from construction, through commissioning and into operations.

After Start-up, responsibilities are to:

  • Manage and coordinate all technical / operational activities in Production, Maintenance, works, HSE and logistics.
  • Ensure that the production target established by the company is achieved and maintained.
  • Ensure a smooth and flawless handover to the long term Site Team.

Identity Root Causes of unplanned shutdowns and action plans in order to achieve the optimal availability of the EPS.

Perfil del candidato

  • Level / Diploma: BA/MA degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent
  • Professional Experience: minimum 15 years in Oil and Gas industry including a minimum of 5 years in Commissioning Start-up and Offshore Site Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Commissioning & Start-up of Subsea and Surface facilities, Site Management.
  • Other required Competencies: Management of contractors/subcontractors, Strong HSE leadership, Operations of Subsea wells, Field Operations of offshore Oil & Gas facilities.
  • Fluent in English.
