National Content development is key for the country’s development, to address Authorities’ and local communities’ expectations and consequently for TEPMA1’s social license to operate.
The successful implementation of Capacity Building initiatives is critical in the delivery of Local Content.
Position is situated in Maputo with potential trips to, and contacts with, TEPMA1’s operations site and other locations in Cabo Delgado Province and the rest of the country with relevance to the project.
Actividades
Accountable for the implementation, coordination, and reporting related to the capacity building programs in line with the requirements of the applicable Local Content regulations and Project’s LC plan.
Develop good working relations, cooperation and synergies with stakeholders involved in Business and youth development programs:
To coordinate awareness programs on Project requirements;
To ensure technical training actions are aligned with the best expression of the Project’s needs; and
To generate programs synergies and sustainability.
Support the Capacity Building Lead on the development, coordination, monitoring, implementation, and opportunities for updates of the MzLNG Project’s “Capacity Building program(s)”.
Assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of assigned capacity building programs.
The capacity building coordinator will have responsibilities regarding the success of Mozambique LNG Project’s SMEs development program via a “Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) support development Plan” (training, coaching, access to finance, transfer of technology) which includes but is not limited to the following activities:
Contracting workshops.
Business Development programs; and
Certification programs.
The Capacity Building Coordinator will have responsibilities regarding the successful implementation of youth development programs.
Assist the Capacity Building Lead with the monitoring of Mozambique LNG contractors’ Capacity Building programs (Workforce and SME development programs);
Assist the Local Content Manager and Capacity Building Lead, as required with the Mozambique LNG Project in preparing reports, drafting presentations and / or communications;
Support TEPMA1 good HSE practices in the workplace by reporting incidents or unsafe conditions and implement mitigation actions as possible. And when required stop unsafe works being performed and advise best practices.
Perfil del candidato
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience
Fluency in English. Portuguese is a big plus.
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
