You will work on large-scale international projects and contribute to innovation in both traditional and emerging fields, such as offshore wind and carbon capture.


🌍 Context

As part of the Marine Structure Architecture department within the Technology Division, you will provide your expertise to development projects as well as to the Group’s 200 offshore facilities. You will collaborate with other technical disciplines, project teams, affiliates, and the TotalEnergies Global Procurement (TGP) purchasing division. Your scope is international, and you may be involved in several projects simultaneously.

Activities

🔍 Your missions

Offshore Design & Engineering

  • Contribute to all project phases: feasibility, pre‑FEED, FEED, design, construction and commissioning.
  • Define design bases and prepare technical specifications for offshore structures.
  • Review contractor and engineering proposals, identifying optimizations and non‑conformities.

Technical Expertise & Supervision

  • Supervise studies, construction activities and critical marine operations (launching, transportation, float‑over, mooring installation).
  • Recommend optimized technical solutions ensuring safety, performance, durability and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Support structural integrity topics, maintenance and life‑extension studies.

Innovation, Low‑Carbon Solutions & Technical Referential

  • Contribute to R&D projects, particularly in offshore wind and carbon capture.
  • Develop low‑carbon solutions and help reduce the carbon footprint of offshore facilities.
  • Develop and promote the technical referential and maintain an active technology watch.

Collaboration & International Environment

  • Support TGP in identifying potential suppliers.
  • Participate in technical audits during project and operational phases.
  • Work within multidisciplinary teams in France or in affiliates worldwide.

Candidate Profile

🛠️ Profile required

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Engineering degree specializing in Offshore Structure.
  • Around 10 years’ experience in offshore structural engineering.
  • Strong expertise in the design, analysis and supervision of offshore structures.
  • Excellent knowledge of standards, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage critical operations (launching, transportation, installation).
  • Strong writing skills; fluent in French and English.
  • Availability for missions, including site visits.
