Are you a strategic commercial leader with deep expertise in hydrocarbon markets, monetization strategies, and commercial operations?

 

TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is looking for an experienced and forwardthinking Head of Hydrocarbon Marketing to lead condensate and gas commercialization activities, optimize value realization, and shape our commercial strategy in a dynamic, fastevolving Malaysian and regional market landscape. This pivotal role sits within the Commercial Division and directly influences revenue outcomes across multiple producing assets.

Activities

Your Impact

As the Head of Hydrocarbon Marketing, you will:

  • Lead the execution of condensate and gas sales strategies to maximize value realization across multiple producing assets.
  • Develop marketdriven pricing insights and deliver commercial intelligence to senior management and HQ.
  • Negotiate and manage Sales and Purchase Agreements, shared facilities arrangements, and commercial obligations with buyers and partners.
  • Oversee daily hydrocarbon sales operations, including lifting coordination, terminal activities, and compliance with UGSAs.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial and market risks while ensuring alignment with HSSE and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop a highperforming commercial team and support business development activities through commercial due diligence and strategic evaluations.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • At least 15 years’ experience in upstream oil and gas commercial, marketing, or trading roles.
  • Strong expertise in hydrocarbon sales, pricing mechanisms, contract negotiations, and market analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams and crossfunctional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical judgment, negotiation skills, and commitment to HSSE and compliance.
