TotalEnergies EP Malaysia (TEPMY) is seeking a proactive and analytically driven Graduate Planning Engineer to support our long‑term planning and integrated operations planning activities. Join us in shaping strategic decisions that drive impact across the organization and the energy value chain.


Activities

Your Impact

As a Graduate Planning Engineer, you will:

  • Support the preparation of the TEPMY’s Long-Term Plan (LTP) and annual budget. 
  • Consolidate planning and portfolio inputs for management discussions and decision-making. 
  • Analyse asset performance and identify portfolio issues for leadership consideration. 
  • Liaise with technical teams, finance, operations, and management to ensure smooth planning processes. 
  • Provide alignment support to Subsurface, Finance, and other departments, including inputs for internal exercises such as Reserves. 
  • Maintain and improve planning tools, primarily Excel and Primavera, ensuring high reliability of inputs and outputs. 
  • Manage the affiliate’s Integrated Operations Planning (IOP) and frame planning based on company rules (CR OT OPP 007) across long term, medium term and short term plans. 
  • Consolidate data into LTP, IOP including BU, WPB, and PDC.
  • Integrate high-level management decisions (FID, exploration, drilling, operations) into the IOP. 
  • Oversee the coordination of affiliate’s IOP, ensuring alignment with TotalEnergies’ portfolio strategy and objectives.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, Process), Applied Science, or related technical field. 
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability to manage complex data sets. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook, Teams, and planning tools. 
  • Good interpersonal skills and fluency in written and spoken English. 
  • Detail-oriented, able to work independently, and responsive to urgent operational requests.
