Context & Environment

1- Young Graduate Trainee - Engineering

Train under the Engineering Department as follows:  

HSE

· Participate in ICC program and assist contractors to continuously improve their Safety Management Systems.

· Coordinate compilation of zero fatality program documents – Safety green light, JST, Life saving checks

· Conduct 2 HSE worksites reports, report 2 near misses and 1 housekeeping check per month

· Participate in the quarterly Technical Integrity monitoring for the depots

· Participate in Annual Technical Visits for allocated concerned sites and consolidate action plan.· Participate and implement and use of IZI safety, Daisy and ERIS for inspection of contractors, maintenance works and sites

· Participate in the annual prevention plan for maintenance work and carry out project prevention plans for all projects.

· Conduct station visits to verify invariants implementation and status of network assets, update files monthly.

MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT

· Liaise with operations administrator in maintenance works allocations and follow up on out of contract maintenance works to ensure product quality by signing off the works

· Liaise with Engineer and help provide method statement to contractors doing maintenance works for quality, cost guidance

· Monthly reporting of maintenance works CM and PM dashboard status.

· Use of Daisy in validating maintenance orders for respective sites after verification of works completion.

· Alert on maintenance reviews for problematic assets and major maintenance works cost estimations.

· Compile and update the Equipment Database for Network and Logistics and ensure all equipment are included in maintenance plan.

PROJECTS MANAGEMENT

· Participate in project feasibility studies for engineering and construction projects, preparing documentation, drawings and recommendation for execution of project.

· Understand the Group standards and applicable local regulations to petroleum project.

· Capturing of Bi-monthly projects review meeting action points 

· Document and file MOCs and risk assessments for all projects during construction and in operation

· Prepares the implementation program for each project in compliance with legislative requirements.

· Participate in negotiation supply of equipment, tendering and engineering contracts with the service providers, in collaboration with the purchasing division.

· Documents the budget control per project for both commitments and liquidations in the project follow up file.

· Participate in projects site visits, site meetings minuting, tracks the project schedule, controls cost and quality and periodically trains contractors on prevention plans, work permits, safety green light and control of the worksite.

· Ensure that Assets for all completed projects are added to the asset register and demolished Assets are also removed from the asset register.

· Carries out any other business as may be delegated by the hierarchy.

Activities

  •  Responsible for projects and maintenance works on service stations, 2 depots, GT sites, MINING and any other sites as may be delegated by the hierarchy.
  •  2 OPEX and 2 CAPEX budget reports per month
  •  1 Projects monitoring follow up action plans file per month
  •  Completion of projects and major maintenance works on set time, at cost and quality
  •  Zero HSEQ incidents and safety reporting
  •  Carry out annual retail risk assessment 
  •  Carry out 1 depot EVARISK assessments per year
  •  Maintenance works with low impact on cost operation
  •  Scheduling of project activities (critical path)
  •  Reports 2 near miss per month
  •  20 ATVs and 20 ERIS reports and action plan for the year
  •  2 HSE inspections, 2 Near Misses, 1 House Keeping Checklists per month
  •  100% MOC for all projects
  •  1 Invariants and 1 Network Assets report per month
  •  1 Network Equipment database and 1 Logistics Equipment database per month

Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree preferably Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum experience of maximum 2 years after graduation 
  •  Intellectually curious and a self-starter
  •  Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and leadership qualities
  •  Good interpersonal skills & team player

Additional Information

The position covers a rotational learning experience in covering maintenance and projects works in the network service stations, depots, general trade, and mining sites according to set out TotalEnergies standards. 

The Young Graduate shall be under-study Engineer under the wings of the Projects and Maintenance Engineers and the Maintenance manager.
