Context & Environment

Tilenga and Kingfisher oilfields developments are the Upstream component of the Lake Albert project, Uganda’s first oil development. Active relationship with the authorities (PAU), partners and internal stakeholders and delivery partners. Management of more than 400 wells during the production phase of the project and support complex reservoir monitoring and production strategy.
Activities

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver & maintain the DMP for the Company.
- Roll out data roles as mandated by the company rules.
- Deliver the major data programs as defined by the company.
- Operationalise & run the data governance councils in the Company.
- Mentor and support the data representatives across the various domains.
- Roll out of data management training programs for DMforT and DMforM,
- Synthesize and present the data pain points and solutions.
- Represent the Company in Data governance councils and put forward the Company needs.
- Ensure availability of key data across the departments, remove data silos.
- Define and implement data KPIs ensuring quality, availability and governance.
- Support data & digital solutions ensuring data quality and availability of the relevant data
Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc Hons Degree in data/technology disciplines
- Minimum BSc Hons Degree in data/technology disciplines in the industrial context, at least 5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, a significant Data (minimum 10 years) and large program implementation, strong experience in working in fast pace evolving and a strong ability to work in a cross functional environment, excellent communication skills
