Are you a recent engineering graduate passionate about offshore integrity and safety?

 

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Inspection Engineer to join our Inspection Team at TotalEnergies EP Malaysia. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to offshore field operations by supporting inspection activities that ensure the integrity of critical assets.

Activities

Your Impact

As a key member of the Inspection Team, you will:

  • Assist in managing inspections of offshore structures, pipelines, and equipment to ensure compliance with TotalEnergies referential, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Support the development and implementation of inspection plans and procedures during the transition to TotalEnergies systems.
  • Coordinate non-destructive testing (NDT) and other inspection techniques to detect defects and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pipeline & structure specialists, topside specialists, corrosion engineers, operations engineers, and the IMR team to address inspection findings and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to KPI dashboard improvements and reporting.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
  • Support the inspection team with various tasks including REX evaluations, risk-based data consolidation, and other ad hoc requirements.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Familiarity with inspection techniques and tools (e.g., NDT methods).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work offshore.
