At TotalEnergies' Lubricants division, pricing and marketing strategies are closely aligned in a competitive market. Pricing is driven by market analysis, product positioning, and competitive benchmarking, while marketing campaigns emphasize the benefits of TotalEnergies' lubricants to build customer relationships. A data-driven, collaborative approach ensures the company meets demand and maintains a strong brand presence.

As a Pricing & Marketing Data Analyst, you will work closely with sales & marketing teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency, and ensure statistical findings meet business objectives.

Your main tasks will be as follows : 

1/ Pricing Support :

  • Assist in analyzing pricing strategies by reviewing historical data and competitive benchmarks
  • Use statistical techniques to identify trends and opportunities for pricing improvements


2/ Demand Analysis & Segmentation : 

  • Analyze seasonal trends and customer preferences to tailor campaigns
  • Use clustering and other techniques to segment customers and optimize marketing efforts
  • Track and report on marketing campaigns, analyze customer behavior, and apply statistical models (e.g., time series, regression) to forecast demand and optimize resource allocation


3/ Statistical Analysis & Reporting :

  • Apply statistical methods (e.g., regression, hypothesis testing) to analyze data, forecast outcomes, and identify actionable insights
  • Conduct A/B testing to assess the impact of marketing and pricing strategies.


Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field


Technical skills and soft skills :

  • Analytical and data-driven skills, with basic knowledge of marketing and pricing strategies
  • Skills in data science tools to generate actionable insights
  • Strong understanding of statistical techniques (e.g., regression, A/B testing, forecasting)
  • Some experience in data analysis, pricing, marketing, or business intelligence is a plus preferred
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics and demand forecasting is a plus

Computing skills :
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office : Excel (advanced level)
  • Proficient in Power BI, R, Python for data analysis and visualization

Languages :

  • German : level B2-
  • English: level B2/C1
  • French: level B2/C1
