Activities

HSE: 

  • Strict adherence and compliance towards Group QHSE policy (including MAESTRO) with high Quality of QHSE performance and complying with affiliate’s QHSE Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all times.
  • Participate in the training program to acquire QHSE knowledge and impart this training to colleagues as and when required by Management.
  • Reporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the time frame as required by Quality, HSE, Energy policies and Manuals.
  • Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as and when required.

 

Strict adherence to QHSE requirements with full authority to stop any operation for safety reasons.


 

The main activities are:

 

  • Identify projects by implementing indirect sales and marketing processes - networks of EPC partners, developers - and direct via the group's B2B in Morocco
  • Ensure the profitability of the projects presented to the investment committees and in their execution
  • Ensure that the activities are compliant with HSE standards 
  • Implementation and active monitoring of HSE processes and actions for construction sites and O&M at operating plants
  • Identification of commercial & industrial prospects likely to enter to a PPA
  • Implement the economic model of TotalEnergies Solar Distributed Generation, build, finance and then operate the assets
  • Ensure good knowledge of the legal and operational context necessary to operate in Morocco (legal, fiscal, regulatory) and ensure the implementation and compliance of Group processes (tax, compliance, HR, legal, etc.)
  • Responsible for building and maintaining tools to industrialize our offer & process
  • Reporting the opportunities and follow up to the head of business development using our CRM tool
  • Coordinate with the other affiliate teams our multi energy offering and strategy
  • Realization of commercial proposals (non-binding and binding offers) creating value for our clients
  • Management of key accounts and local partners
  • Contribute to preparing the N+1 budget and participate in the PLT in its area
  • Ensure the monthly reporting of activities and prepare the investment dossiers
  • Hire the right people; managerial capacity to keep them in the organization.
  • Manage the business development team in all phases of project development 
  • Manage regulatory processes, financing, commercial activity and associated business partners, stakeholder coordination, construction and performance of solar power plants, with a permanent concern for HSE objectives. 
  • Conclude exclusivity agreements with EPC partners; establish long-term relationships
  • Reporting the trends and tendency of the area to the head office in order to adapt the strategy 



Candidate Profile

  • Master of science, engineering, or business
  • Fluent English
  • Minimum 15-20 years' professional experience
  • Significant experience in the energy sector, preferably in profit center management
  • Areas of expertise: project management (technical, economic, project finance, international negotiation)
  • Strong interpersonal skills will be required to engage local stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment multicultural environment, with cross-functional and delocalized teams
  • Negotiation skills 
  • Commercial skills with strong ability to convince and show perseverance 
  • Flexible mindset and autonomy
  • Strong leadership skills
