Would you like to work within a leading Oil & Gas business in Denmark? Are you up for taking on a key role in our Field Operation team? In this role, you will issue production forecasts and contribute to significant improvements in safety, operational efficiency, and cost management.

Activities

As the Forecast & Budget Engineer, your main focus will be to issue a variety of forecasts and participate in the budget and planning exercises. You get to use your knowledge and experience to setup and maintain the framework to produce accurate forecasts with a quick turn-around. You will be working together with various teams to gather information for the forecasts and deliver outputs to internal and external stakeholders. 

 

The areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:

  • Issue production forecasts for various budget exercises, including oil and gas production, water injection, gas export, flaring, and fuel consumption
  • Verify and share forecast data with internal and external stakeholders in due time and in relevant format
  • Verify shortfall estimation for offshore activities
  • Issue supporting material for budget exercises for management and HQ
  • Report on actual performance compared to forecasts
  • Build and maintain tools for forecasting and reporting

Candidate Profile

Who we are looking for 

A clear focus on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) is key. You should feel comfortable in a highly visible role and be able to work with tight deadlines.  It is important that you have a methodical, rigorous, and analytical mindset. Accuracy and attention to detail is a must as the forecasts are used for key business decisions. You thrive in Excel and you are able to find solutions to support business demands. This position calls for a clear ability to work transversally across different teams.

 

Your background

  • BSc in Science or equivalent.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong ability to work transversally across different teams.
  • Methodical, rigorous, and analytical mindset.
  • Knowledge and understanding of data and data and dataflows
  • Clear focus on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
