Are you ready to join a dynamic team as a Maintenance Engineer? If you excel in ensuring Work Order quality, planning and executing maintenance operations, monitoring stock inventories, and providing budget input, this role at TotalEnergies in Esbjerg could be your perfect match! We are looking for an individual who is committed to developing their own competence and maintaining visibility on site.

Activities

As a Fabric Maintenance Engineer in the Fabric Maintenance team, you will play a key role in areas such as piping and structural repair and replacement, emergency piping repair, replacement of handrails and grating, pressure vessel repair, painting, insulation and scaffolding. You will have the opportunity to continuously learn and develop your skills while organizing and preparing maintenance activities in line with TotalEnergies Referential and Local & International Regulations. You will use your expertise to manage equipment related to your discipline and oversee the entire process for corrective and preventive maintenance operations.

 

Overall, you have the responsibility of the work order quality and the maintenance plan execution. Furthermore, you have the responsibility of ensuring the reliability of the equipment related to your scope and limits the downtime in case of breakdown. You will act as technical specialist in the Stock Management process.

 

These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:

  • Maintain stock levels for efficient operations and manage obsolescence
  • Handle equipment backloads for refurbishment and reintegration
  • Perform quality control on components for critical activities
  • Provide technical input for new contracts and tenders
  • Participate in Service Quality Management for relevant contracts
  • Organize and participate in risk assessments
  • Act as SECE (Safety and Environmental Critical Elements) guardian for assigned subsystems
  • Prepare work orders for maintenance tasks with cost awareness
  • Use SAP CMIMS for routine and non-routine work preparation
  • Provide budget input and inform the team lead of potential over-runs
  • Manage and reduce the backlog to a manageable size
  • Contribute to campaign scope preparation
  • Engage regularly with site personnel, contractors, and vendors
  • Contribute to planning and scheduling processes
  • Provide more advanced support and expertise to our Operations and Optimization Center
  • Ensure documents in the Company Management System are up to date

Candidate Profile

Who we are looking for 

It is important that you possess a safety mindset and address the job with a strong understanding of the business and people. Naturally, you thrive in a highly independent and visible position in a free and dynamic working environment. Moreover, this position, calls for specific technical know-how related to fabric maintenance and especially piping, pressure vessel and structural engineering/design. This is with ability to understand, explain and present to both technical and non-technical audiences in a compelling manner. Also, excellent interpersonal and communicative skills are essential in combining a holistic business view with specific discipline initiatives. We are looking for a strong team player with the ability to build relationships and work constructively with others to achieve business goals.


 Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor engineering degree level or other relevant technical background such as background in piping engineering, construction, fabric maintenance and/or inspection
  • 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry 
  • You excel in cross-functional collaborations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in oral and written English.
