Would you like to develop high-level technical expertise while contributing to the digital transformation of subsurface disciplines?

Within TotalEnergies EP Norge AS, based in Stavanger, you will join a team of reservoir specialists working at the heart of production optimization, reserves management, and value creation across Norwegian assets. You will evolve in an international environment where technical excellence, autonomy, and collaboration are part of everyday operations.

What You Will Do

During your assignment, you will be involved in high-value projects and gain significant exposure to reservoir engineering activities.

Digital responsibilities

Develop the Tools of Tomorrow: you will contribute to the deployment of OPM Flow, an open-source reservoir simulation tool designed to strengthen the entity’s analytical capabilities. You will participate in its technical validation, enhancement, and adoption by the teams.

Turn Data into Decisions: you will develop solutions to improve asset performance analysis, production monitoring, understanding of forecast deviations, and reserves reporting.

Technical responsibilities 

Work Closely with Operational Challenges: you will monitor a non-operated asset and collaborate with both internal teams and operators to understand reservoir performance and support decision-making processes.

Showcase Your Results: you will regularly present your work to experienced engineers and management, further developing your technical expertise and visibility within the organization.

Candidate Profile

Who We Are Looking For

You Are:

  • Graduated with a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Subsurface Studies, or a related discipline
  • Good command of Power BI or similar data visualization tools
  • Passionate about data, digital tools, and continuous improvement
  • Fluent English (C1 minimum) and intermediate French (B2 minimum)


Ideally, You Bring:

  • A first professional experience in reservoir engineering
  • Programming skills (Python, SQL, etc.)
