Activities

Join our affiliate TotalEnergies Renewables Iberica (including Portugal, Spain) located in Madrid !

TotalEnergies Renewables ambition is to develop in the next 5 years an international leadership and profitable presence in the solar market, aiming to increase market share in the region.

You will reportly to the Finance and HR Manager.

The position will be based in Madrid, but the scope of activities will cover the projects in Iberia

Affiliates start up with a huge potential of development. There is a lot of communication with Total Renewables HQ Finance Team in France. You will act according to TotalEnergies policies and compliance values. 

As a Financial controller, you will coordinate the preparation, consolidation and synthesis of all the elements of TotalEnergies Renewables Iberica activities for the budget and the monthly / quarterly reporting, in collaboration with local management. The distribution of the reporting prepared by you allows TotalEnergies management to have a clear vision of the financial health of TotalEnergies affiliates and initiate corrective actions in case of drift.


Your missions will be as follows :

1) Consolidation of the budget process and monthly / quarterly reporting/ Long Term Plan (LTP)

- Assist and advise HUBS in the preparation of their budget;

- Assist in the preparation of the LTP plan for the Hubs;

- Monthly reporting of Total affiliates, TotalEnergies Renewables Iberica;

- Quarterly group consolidation for P&L, BS interco and reconciliation with monthly reporting;

- Consolidate data and prepare syntheses / dashboards;

- Build cash forecast for the entity and the project;

- Reporting by project (time spent and external expenses).


2) Contribution to the correct accounting of the expenses and revenues of the activity

- Establish accruals entries (invoices to be prepared, accrued charges);

- Control invoicing/re-invoicing (flows between development companies and assets co, Group services);

- Coordinate with external accounting firm and other external partners to ensure quality of reporting;

- Control accounting entries and correct governance rules application.


3) Financial control and assistance on project financial modelling

 - Support to project finance/business on ongoing projects;

 - Follow up internal cash needs;

-  Finance compliance and internal control relay.



Candidate Profile

Expected Qualifications:

  • Master or engineering degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics


Technical skills:

  • First experience, 1 to 3 years in finance would be a plus
  • Experience in business development, financial analysis, or a related role within the renewable energy sector
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and sensitivity analysis
  • Understanding of the renewable energy market, particularly photovoltaic projects


Computing skills:

  • Excellent use of Excel and database
  • Knowledge of an ERP


Languages:

  • Spanish: level B2 minimum
  • English: level C1 minimum
  • French: level B2 minimum
