Candidate Profile

- Electrical, Mechanical, Civil engineering background is preferable. Other engineering disciplines may be also considered.

- Additional training in Solar PV (Design and technology) is a plus.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in EPC/FV Solar sector (PV Plants detailed engineering) and 8 years of work experience.

- Deep knowledge on PV industry and solar project engineering i.e., single-axis trackers technology, Grid Code Compliance, and

electrical applicable regulation.

- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).

- Use of AutoCAD and PVsyst software is a must.

- Fluent in Spanish and English.

- High analytical and communication skills.

- Self-motivated, with strong initiative and creative thinking.

- Ability to read/write clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

- Ability to work individually, autonomous, and proactive- and as a team.

Activities

The EPC PV Project Engineer shall provide support to the EPC Team in:

- Reviewing technical documentation from Subcontractors/Suppliers/Advisors.

- Ensuring that products meet TotalEnergies technical specifications and applicable standards.

- Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them.

- Preparing technical documentation for Request for Proposals (RfP), tenders and contracts.

- Defining of project constraints, detailed engineering and evaluating contractor/supplier technical proposals.

- Keeping all project documentation well-structured and classified.

- Cost evaluation and comparison of commercial proposals.

- Technology assessment, market R&D, cost optimization and sensitivity analysis.

- Coordination of RFP/Design Review process with external parties (Contractors, Engineers, Advisors).

- Assisting the project team during construction in all technical issues that may arise.

- Coordination and supervision of all technical related conditions required for provisional acceptance.

TotalEnergies Renowables Ibérica develops, builds, and operates solar projects in Iberia region, either with full ownership or with partners in JVs.

This position is located at our Madrid´s office (Spain) with regular visits to project sites.
