Context & Environment

Position reports to the Technical Manager

There are no direct reports associated with this role.

Activities

- Coordinate maintenance, capital projects, and inspection activities during turnaround periods.

- Develop and implement turnaround schedules and plans

- Ensure job plan compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize turnaround processes.

- Monitor and report on the progress and performance of turnaround activities.

- Manage the budget allocated for turnaround operations.

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with turnaround activities by reviewing for constructability and adherence to site specifications.

- Facilitate communication between different teams involved in the turnaround process.

- Evaluate and improve turnaround strategies for future operations.

- Oversee, train, and temporarily lead a team in coordination of multiple TAR tasks including, but not limited to, energy isolation planning and work permitting.

- Actively support all policies and management systems adopted by our site organization including high standards of safety, environmental, quality, cost, availability, asset integrity, and community relations.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Other engineering degrees will be considered depending on the experience of the individual.

10+ years of experience required in various industrial facility roles.

Experience in operations and maintenance are highly recommended. 

Experience in project management is beneficial.
