Your role

As a Student Assistant in the Tax Department, you will have the opportunity to gain insight into the daily tax work to broaden your own professional horizon. You will act as a light tax assistant function and support the broader tax team with a primary focus on transfer pricing. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to work with various internal and external stakeholders and have a broad range of daily contact with all tax functions in Copenhagen.

 

Key Responsibilities

Overall, with the varying day-to-day tasks and approximately 15-20 hours per week, you are responsible for managing and shaping your daily tasks together with the tax team.

 

You will assist with a wide range of tasks within the tax team:

  • Administrative support for the tax members
  • Data gathering and report creation upon request
  • Support the creation and updating of transfer pricing documentations
  • Monthly assignments within personal income tax
  • Ad hoc assignments within corporate tax, hydrocarbon tax and VAT
  • Supporting project work
  • Organize and maintain our internal communications, SharePoint and document storage

Who we are looking for

You are currently enrolled at a university or business school in a relevant field, such as Finance or Law. We are ideally looking for a student who has at least two years of studies remaining, to ensure continuity and long-term collaboration in the role.

You are results-driven, with strong attention to detail, and take pride in delivering high-quality work. You are a team player who is not afraid to ask questions and who constructively challenges the way the department thinks and works.

 

Your background

  • Living in the Copenhagen area or able to commute 
  • Being enrolled in a Bachelor/Master program is a requirement
  • Ability to liaise with people and have good communication skills
  • Comfortable in diverse fast-changing environments and consider new and untested approaches
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Programs, Outlook, Word, Power point and Excel
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
