TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking a meticulous and driven Senior PSC Analyst to support Production Sharing Contract (PSC) and Joint Venture (JV) financial operations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate reporting, cost recovery, and audit readiness in alignment with PETRONAS and internal standards.

Activities

Your Impact

As the Senior PSC Analyst, you will:

  • Ensure all finance activities comply with PETRONAS guidelines and PSC/JOA accounting procedures.
  • Maintain accuracy in PSC and JV accounts, including cost recovery and JV cost shareability.
  • Manage monthly Joint Interest Billing (JIB), cash calls, and JV partners’ queries.
  • Support PSC, JV, and statutory audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly and year-end actual vs budget reporting to the regulator.
  • Support ad-hoc request from Partners on PSC reporting matters.
  • Oversee gas billing, Plant Liquid Returns (PLR), and throughput invoicing in line with UGSA and facilities agreements.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of JV bank accounts.
  • Contribute to SAP process improvements and ensure robust system controls.
  • Support and deputize the PSC Reporting Lead in daily operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from management, partners, and internal departments.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

  • Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years (Degree), 5 years (Diploma), or 10 years (Professional Certificate) of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PSC and upstream accounting, including inventory costing, production & revenue accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in SAP is essential.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability in financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
