Are you a proactive HSE leader with a passion for driving operational safety, regulatory compliance, and emergency preparedness?

 

We are seeking an experienced HSE Operations, Assurance and Emergency Management Manager to join our HSSE & Sustainability team at TotalEnergies EP Malaysia. This strategic role is vital in ensuring incident-free operations and robust emergency response capabilities across our assets.

Activities

Your Impact

As a key member of the HSSE & Sustainability team, you will:

  • Lead the implementation of risk-based HSE procedures and enforce Golden Rules to manage site-specific risks.
  • Oversee PPE needs assessments, logistics, and training to uphold safety standards.
  • Drive compliance monitoring, audits, and inspections with clear action plans and follow-through.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response and crisis management plans, ensuring readiness of the Emergency Control Centre (ECC).
  • Coordinate emergency drills and training, including offshore and KL office preparedness.
  • Engage with PETRONAS, DOSH, local authorities, and emergency service providers to ensure regulatory alignment and best practices.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

  • A degree or diploma in engineering, occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 to 15 years of HSE experience in oil and gas operations, including offshore emergency management.
  • Proven leadership in implementing HSE systems and mentoring cross-functional teams.
  • Strong rapport with regulatory bodies and stakeholders (e.g., DOSH, DOE, MARDEP, PETRONAS).
  • Certifications in BOSIET, IMS/ICS, and Occupational First Aid.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and emergency simulation software is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
