Activities

As a Data Steward at TotalEnergies in Esbjerg, you will be responsible for the following activities: 

  • Maintaining the One.Pulse engineering data warehouse tool and providing onboarding and training to internal and external users. 
  • Ensuring that contractors comply with the data management requirements. 
  • Delivering reports on key document and data performance metrics such as tag number allocation, tag attribute population, and data quality verification. 
  • Supporting the development of data management processes.
  • Providing ad hoc support to project teams with data-related queries.

It is important that you possess a safety mindset and approach the job with a strong understanding of data management process’ and people. Naturally, you thrive in a highly independent and visible position in a free and dynamic working environment. Moreover, this position calls for good stakeholder management skills with the ability to organize, motivate and collaborate with both staff and contractors from different cultures and levels of knowledge about data management. This is with an analytical and detail focused mindset as well as a clear ability to manage a multi stakeholder process. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential in combining a holistic business view with concrete initiatives. We are looking for a strong team player with the ability to build relationships and work constructively with others to achieve business goals. 
 
Your profile: 
 

  • Engineering data management experience working on major O&G projects
  • Expertise managing data in master data stores and applications at all stages of the data lifecycle. 
  • Significant experience managing reference data libraries including defining and maintaining class libraries to ensure the relevant data is captured and updated for all functional (tag) and physical (model/equipment) classes.
  • Experience creating and updating standards, specifications, processes and procedures, and embedding usage within disparate teams.
  • Proven ability to use tools such as Excel, PowerBI etc., for preparation of data, and analysis of data management performance metrics
  • Experience working with Engineering Data Warehouse, tagging systems and engineering data analysis 
  • Knowledge of Lifecycle Information Management principles. 
  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to integrate people, processes and technology, including delivering training and providing on-going support.
