You will be joining OneTech, a pillar of the company's transformation, and will have the opportunity to monitor the technical management of chartered LNG carriers as well as supporting R&D projects related to innovation and decarbonization of maritime transport. As part of the Marine Structure & Architecture team, you will provide expertise to the chartering department to optimize the safety and efficiency of vessels and play an active role in the development of marine projects for all TotalEnergies divisions. Technical management of the chartered fleet of LNG carriers:

• Optimizing technical budgets by negotiating OPEX budgets and vessel technical stop
• Technical monitoring of vessels allocated within the fleet
• Provide expertise to the chartering department to optimize the safety and efficiency of chartered vessels, reduce atmospheric emissions and participate in HSE/incident monitoring. 

You will also be actively involved in the development of maritime projects for all the company's divisions: LNG terminal, FSRU, CO2 transport :

• Providing technical expertise for the development of new terminals 
• Provide expertise for the sizing and cost estimation of a project fleet
• Prepare ad hoc vessel specifications 
• Monitor new technologies and solutions likely to improve the safety, efficiency and decarbonization of maritime operations 
• Contribute to the objective of reducing GHG emissions for the Shipping activity

You have proven professional experience - ideally 15 years - with various responsibilities related to the maritime industry, if possible in contact with LNG carriers or large LNG facilities. 
 Training as a merchant marine chief engineer is required. 
 Previous experience in LNG carrier construction/repair yards or having worked in classification societies/for a shipowner is a plus. 
 Excellent written and spoken English - good understanding of technical maritime and shipbuilding terminology.
