Join our affiliate TotalEnergies Marketing Asia-Pacific Middle East Ltd. - Papua New Guinea in Port-Moresby !


As part of a major transformation of the affiliate’s activities planned for 2026, and under the supervision of the Affiliate CFO, you will play a key role in supporting and structuring the Finance function. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the complete overhaul of the affiliate’s budgeting model, with a focus on improving reliability, integrating new reporting and accounting requirements, and incorporating project financing constraints triggered after the project’s Final Investment Decision (FID),
  • Actively contributing to the implementation of a new legal entity (SME) to be activated post-FID, including reporting processes, governance framework, and the deployment of its dedicated CMS,
  • Supporting governance-related activities, particularly the evolution of the subsidiary’s CMS (process optimization and migration to the affiliate’s intranet),
  • Contributing to the review and update of Finance Department procedures to ensure alignment with evolving organizational and regulatory requirements,
  • Participating in SOX testing campaigns by performing and documenting SOX controls within the subsidiary.


You will operate in a highly complex contractual environment, involving multiple and diverse stakeholders such as public authorities, industrial partners, and financial institutions.

This is a highly cross-functional role within the Finance Department, offering broad exposure to all key Finance activities, including Accounting, Budgeting, Cost Control & Reporting, Treasury, and Project Finance. It represents a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of Finance operations within a large-scale, strategic project.



Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications:

  • Master degree from Business School in Finance or Economy 


Important: the candidate must have a minimum of 3 years relevantexperience in alignment with role he/she will perform as a VIE (visa requirements)


Technical skills:

  • 1st experience in Finance (3 years minimum)


Computing skills:

  • Advanced Excel
  • MS Dynamics is a plus


Languages:

  • English: level C1/C2 (Working language in PNG)
  • French: level B2
