Activities

  • Responsible for sales of app. 180 Mlbs sales with an estimated turnover of > $120 MM per year
  • Maintain and develop relationships with both prime, generic prime and offgrade distribution partners
  •  Develop and manage sales of recycled products to distribution partners
  • Generate and develop programs for sales of prime and generic prime polypropylene to ensure timely disposition and maximize profitability.
  • Develop, grow, and manage polypropylene sales to resellers and direct customers for export markets outside of USMCA, along with intercompany sales, to optimize volumes, margin, and regional market penetration.
  • Assist in the sales of scrap and offgrade material
  • Collaborates and works closely with Distributors and Traders, as well as our manufacturing plants
  • Develop and administer criteria and guidelines for brokers/resellers consistent with TEPRI’s code of conduct and core values. 
  • Develop and manage new and existing customer relationships. Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer requirements and the secondary markets. 
  • Establish & nurture supplier-customer relationships to maintain a “Preferred Supplier” status and encourage the exchange of current market information. Monitor and report on competitor activity within the market as a whole to identify different products/services aimed at TEPRI and their Customers. 
  • Quote customers using the Company pricing systems accurately and within procedures and controls to generate targeted sales throughout the year. Analyze competitive pricing situations and evaluate for validity. 
  • Manage and resolve conflicts with customers to maintain trust while protecting the interest of the Company. 

Candidate Profile

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration or Sales preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years industry experience required


Skills:

  • Previous polymer and / or sales experience preferred 
  • Good communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Ability in problem solving and negotiations. Good listening and presentation skills. 
  • Proficiency in SAP (R/3, APO, Business Warehouse), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
