Join the Madrid team at TotalEnergies Renewables Ibérica, a key player in the development of renewable energy projects in Spain. As one of TotalEnergies’ strategic markets in Europe, Spain represents a major growth area, supported by a large portfolio of utility-scale solar assets currently under development and operation.

As part of the Asset Management team, you will contribute to the operational and economic monitoring of renewable energy assets. Positioned at the intersection of energy markets, long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs), revenue optimization, and asset performance, you will gain valuable exposure to the commercial and financial aspects of renewable energy operations.

You will work within a dynamic, international, and multicultural environment based in Madrid, collaborating with stakeholders across different functions and geographies.

Aktivitäten

Your missions:

  • Support the monthly revenue calculation process for renewable assets and contribute to the analysis of their financial and operational performance.
  • Assist in the management and monitoring of long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), including the review of contractual obligations and commitments.
  • Monitor energy sales activities and participate in controls related to invoicing, Guarantees of Origin, and market-related contracts.
  • Analyze daily developments in energy markets to assess potential impacts on the asset portfolio and support operational decision-making.
  • Contribute to budgeting activities, medium- and long-term forecasting exercises, and the monitoring of key business performance indicators.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of reporting tools, financial models, and analytical frameworks used by the Asset Management team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment to ensure the accuracy of analyses and compliance with contractual commitments.

Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

You hold at least a Master’s degree (Business School, Engineering School, or University) with a specialization in:

  • Energy Markets
  • Business Economics

A first professional experience within the energy sector, whether with a market operator, transmission system operator, utility, or renewable energy company, would be a strong asset.

You have a strong interest in energy markets, economics, and finance, along with solid analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly:

  • Excel (advanced level, including pivot tables and macros)
  • PowerPoint
  • Word

Additional qualifications that would be appreciated include:

  • Good knowledge of European energy markets and market mechanisms.
  • Interest in data analysis and strong proficiency with digital and analytical tools.
  • Basic knowledge of programming, automation, or process optimization.

Language requirements:

  • Spanish: B2 to C1
  • English: minimum B2
  • French: minimum B1 to B2
