Are you an experienced contracts and commercial professional ready to support the successful delivery of major offshore construction projects?

 

TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking a highly capable Senior Contracts & Services Specialist to provide contract administration, commercial support, and contractor management expertise for construction and project execution activities. This role is key to ensuring contractual compliance, cost control, stakeholder alignment, and the successful delivery of offshore development projects.

Your Impact

As part of our Construction team, you will:

  • Support contract administration activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, company procedures, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Manage project correspondence, contractual documentation, variation orders, claims, invoices, and payment tracking to ensure timely resolution of commercial matters. 
  • Work closely with Construction, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Drilling, Development, and Operations teams to address contractual and commercial issues affecting project execution. 
  • Monitor contractor performance and contractual deliverables to support project objectives in safety, quality, schedule, and cost. 
  • Assist in cost reporting activities, including cash flow tracking, accruals, value of work done, and identification of potential cost overruns and mitigation measures. 
  • Support tender preparation and evaluation activities, including the compilation of call-for-tender documentation and contracting strategy inputs. 
  • Contribute to business improvement initiatives, audits, market surveys, and corporate projects that enhance operational efficiency and governance.

Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

What We Are Looking For

We seek a seasoned contracts professional with strong commercial acumen and project execution experience. To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with exposure to both operator and service provider environments. 
  • Proven experience serving as part of a Project Management Team (PMT) with responsibility for contract management in E&P project execution. 
  • Hands-on experience administering EPC, EPCC, EPCIC, Transportation & Installation (T&I), and Hook-Up & Commissioning (HUC) contracts from award through close-out. 
  • Strong knowledge of construction contract terms and conditions, including management of complex lump sum and unit-rate contracts. 
  • Experience in preparing tender documentation and conducting tender evaluations. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and professional contractual correspondence. 
  • Site experience and exposure to offshore construction activities would be an advantage.
