🌍 Context

Within the Marine Structure & Architecture Department of the Technology Division, you will contribute to the Company’s development projects and provide technical support to subsidiaries worldwide.

You will work on projects across all Company activities and at every stage—from conceptual design to commissioning, including construction and operations support.
 You will support TotalEnergies’ growth in new energies (onshore/offshore wind, carbon capture) while contributing to reducing the carbon footprint of our facilities.

🔍 Your missions

HVAC Design & Engineering

  • Work across all project stages: feasibility studies, pre‑FEED, FEED, project execution, construction, and handover.
  • Define design bases and draft the technical specifications for HVAC systems.
  • Review technical solutions proposed by engineering contractors and vendors, identifying optimizations and non‑conformities.

Operations Support & Performance

  • Provide support to operations: maintenance, life extension, retrofit activities.
  • Supervise or audit detailed engineering, construction, inspections, testing, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
  • Study and implement solutions aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of HVAC installations.

Expertise & Technical Referencing

  • Contribute to R&D projects, particularly in onshore/offshore wind and carbon capture.
  • Develop, optimize, and promote the Company’s HVAC technical standards.
  • Conduct technology watch activities and promote innovative solutions.
  • Participate in project audits at various stages, as well as in operational audits.

Collaboration & International Environment

  • Coordinate HVAC interfaces with other technical disciplines.
  • Support TGP (TotalEnergies Global Procurement) and project teams in identifying suppliers.
  • Work on one or several projects in parallel, within a global scope.

🛠️ Profile sought

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Around 15 years of experience in HVAC within the industrial sector, ideally in Oil & Gas (offshore, FPSO).
  • Background including design engineering, construction follow‑up, commissioning, and HVAC maintenance.
  • Experience in integrating HVAC systems on marine installations is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of project phases: conceptual, Pre‑FEED, FEED, detailed engineering, construction, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operations support.
  • Strong understanding of carbon footprint reduction challenges for HVAC systems.

Soft Skills

  • Autonomy and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Rigor, organizational skills, ability to manage priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary and international environments.
  • Analytical and synthesis mindset, curiosity, and ability to learn.
  • Proven writing skills; fluent in French and/or English.
