This is a key position within the Power Trading Support team at TotalEnergies, offering a unique opportunity to work at the heart of European energy markets and contribute to the Group’s strategic data transformation. You will join a collaborative, multicultural environment and have direct impact on data-driven decision-making and operational integrity across trading platforms.

Aktivitäten

As Energy Data Market Lead, you will play a central role in ensuring data integrity and operational excellence across European power trading markets.

What you will do:

  • Ensure daily monitoring of market data flows, performing quality checks to validate accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Collaborate with TSOs and DSOs to address missing or erroneous data and maintain smooth data communication
  • Develop, implement, and maintain automated controls, dashboards, and alerts to track and improve data quality
  • Define and monitor KPIs to proactively detect data anomalies and reduce operational risks
  • Reconcile contracts, calculate imbalances, and manage the process of Guarantees of Origin issuance
  • Lead and support the automation of data integration into ETRM systems to streamline operations
  • Continuously improve tools and workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability across trading platforms
  • Supervise a team of data analysts: assign short-term priorities, review outputs, and guide performance
  • Stay up to date with market developments and regulatory changes, ensuring alignment with internal systems
  • Contribute to the design and rollout of operating models for new products in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Ensure internal documentation remains complete, current, and aligned with evolving processes and tools

Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy Economics, Data Science, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in the Gas and Power sector with strong data analysis exposure
  • Solid experience in managing operational data flows and automation processes
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL, Python, and tools such as Alteryx, Streamlit, or Power BI
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Prior experience in supervising or mentoring data analysts is a plus
  • Fluent in English; other European languages (French, Spanish, Italian, German) are a strong asset
