The position operates in a service environment between the TEPR and TSMS teams, the TEMB, TEMKGLux and TEMNL Sales Departments and third parties. Each of these parties may have different interests. 

These requirements must be taken into account in the most optimal way possible, both in an economic/budgetary context and in a safety/environmental context in order to guarantee product availability. 

The team operates in an environment of constantly changing demands and constraints, requiring a flexible approach and professionalism in maintaining working relationships.

Number of voyages/year (2024): 500 

Volume transported: 1.5 million m³ per year (distillates and organic)

Stock perimeter: 7 terminals (internal and external)

Objectives

- Responsible for daily barge logistics and its ongoing optimisation throughout the BNL perimeter 

- Key player in keeping transport costs and waiting times to a minimum

• Daily contact with shipowners to book and plan barges for the entire management area.
• Optimal use of resources thanks to the various contracts signed between TEMB and the different shipowners (chartering contract, time charter, spot market).
• Negotiating freight for spot contracts with carriers. 
• Controlling and monitoring costs and preparing the associated KPIs 
• Taking an active part in assessing the performance of the carriers used.

• Master's degree in economics or equivalent
• Languages: French, English, Dutch is a plus
• IT skills (Excel, Powerpoint, SAP, Colibri, Boxi, Power BI ....) 
• Team spirit, ability to adapt to change, rigour, good communicator, stress resistance, creativity, autonomy and availability.
