As a Local Content Coordinator, you will coordinate TotalEnergies EP Suriname’s (TEEPSR) local content efforts, ensuring compliance with Surinamese regulations and advancing sustainable development. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, promote the use of local goods, services, and workforce, contribute to TEEPSR's local content strategy and prepare the reporting. 


Aktivitäten

  • In liaison with all the relevant internal stakeholders (Contracts & Procurement, Business Development, Operations, Project team), lead the development and implementation of TotalEnergies EP Suriname's (TEEPSR) local content strategies aligned with the company objectives and Surinamese regulations;
  • Collaborate with Contracts & Procurement and Project teams to ensure the integration of local content requirements into    procurement processes, tenders, contracts and project execution plans;
  • Liaise with local businesses, government agencies, and community leaders to promote local content development initiatives.
  • Coordinate the development of capacity-building programs and initiatives to enhance local workforce skills and capabilities;
  • Collect, monitor and evaluate performance metrics to ensure compliance with local content requirements. Identify areas for improvement and ensure that local content goals are consistently met;
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on local content activities and achievements to senior management and regulatory authorities. 

Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

  • Master’s (preferred) in Project Management, Finance, Business Administration, or Contracting & Procurement. 
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in oil/gas or industrial sector, ideally within international companies. 
  • Skilled in English and Dutch, with strong communication, contract management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to plan effectively, solve problems, work independently, and demonstrate resilience under pressure.
  • Familiar with local content requirements and project challenges specific to Suriname or similar regions.
