As a Strategic Planning and Developpement Analyst, your missions will be:

             1/ Budget and Performance: 

- Assist the Strategic Performance Engineer in the construction of the asset's Budget (c. 1G$ of investments / year), by analyzing and questioning the budget proposals of the technical entities (drilling, subsea, projects brownfiels). 

- Assist the Strategic Performance Engineer (investments) in the analysis of the asset's performance, prepare the monthly presentation for the asset's CODIR (Production, CAPEX, OPEX). 

- Consolidate and analyze weekly performance data for the Asset Management Committee and optimize reports. 

- Enhance the Power Bi performance analysis tool for performance monitoring in liaison with the finance department and the management controller, and support the teams in its use. 

The aim is to enable monthly monitoring of asset investment performance using Power BI.

- Improve the Blue Table Excel budgeting tool to simplify its use for budget presentations to the various stakeholders. 

              2/ Strategic Planning: 

- Evolve the tool for monitoring changes in operational planning to identify deviations in execution vs. budget (drilling start, duration of drilling campaign, start-up date, projects in execution). 

- Rethink the monthly production / CAPEX analysis tool to assess the production impact of a drilling sequence modification. 

- Assist the Strategic Planning Engineer in strategic planning activities for the asset, in particular cost and production analyses and presentations for the asset's Long Term Plan. 

               3/ Development : 

- Contribute to the preparation of internal and external workshops by optimizing communication media. 

- Monitor budgets for development studies and analyze any variations from one year to the next, in collaboration with Head Office. 

- Benchmark similar assets and projects, participate in the implementation of visual management tools for asset development management.

- Use and maintain the Phaser planning-development tool to forecast production, costs, electrical power and CO2 emissions for the asset.

Expected qualifications:

• Engineering degree or Master degree in Finance and in petroleum engineering 
• First experience in oil and gas industry, ideally in deep water

Technical skills:

• Capacity of analysis and synthesis
• Deep interest for data management and figures analysis

Computing skills:

• Proficient with Microsoft Pack Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
• Good knowledge of PowerBI

Languages:

• English: level C1
• French: level B2
• Portuguese or Spanish would be a plus

Planned Start date: SEPTEMBER 2025

Planned contract duration : 12 months with possible 12 month-extension
