The Polymers Business Unit (BU) of the Refining-Chemicals branch of TotalEnergies is looking for a VIE to join its Communication/Compliance/HR team. It is a global Business Unit with production sites in Europe, the US, the Middel-East and Asia.

Polymers are used to produce different forms of plastic used in a wide variety of fields (food, medical, construction, automotive, etc.). The research and technologies developed aim to reduce the environmental impact of plastic materials, develop recycling and production from renewable materials while guaranteeing the safety and reliability of products. Our ambition is to produce 1MT of circular polymers by 2030.

Plastic materials are widely used but increasingly under attack. However, they are essential and have a role to play in reducing our environmental footprint.

Located in a recently renovated, carbon-neutral building in the heart of Brussels, our small team is dynamic and in constant contact with business teams: chemists, engineers, researchers, salespeople, and marketers.

Mission: Communication is key to developing an understanding of the issues and supporting the development of our teams' initiatives.

We are looking for a curious and creative Communication Officer with a specialization in multimedia production.

Responsibilities:

1.Actively contribute to the development of communication actions

- Participate in strategic thinking by enriching the communication plan in a continuous improvement approach.

- Propose innovative initiatives to achieve communication objectives.

- Graphic and multimedia production

2. Produce simple videos for various communication media.

- Create graphic and multimedia content.

- Ensure the consistency of messages and visuals with the company's overall communication strategy.

- Participate in the preparation and coordination of occasional external events (designing stands, creating visuals and materials such as posters, banners, and presentations).

Expected qualifications:

• Master's degree in communication or equivalent education.
• Previous experience in multimedia production and communication project management is desired

  Technical skills:

• Interest in issues related to plastics and environmental impact 
• Digital and visual communication
• Video editing skills 
• Webmastering skills 
• Organizational skills and event management expertise 

Computing skills:

• Very good knowledge of digital softwares (Office 365, Adobe suite and Canva)

Languages:

• English: level C1
• French: level C1
